The Danang BioHub Innovation Program (DBI) is a pioneering initiative developed by the Danang Biotechnology Center (DBC) in collaboration with the Swiss Entrepreneurship Program (Swiss EP) Vietnam.
By combining DBC’s state-of-the-art R&D infrastructure with Swiss EP’s global expertise in building and scaling innovation ecosystems, DBI creates a dynamic innovation hub for startups and SMEs in biotechnology, green economy, and digital technologies – empowering the next generation of high-impact ventures in Vietnam.

Special Mechanisms and Support Policies from Da Nang City
Da Nang ranked among the top 5 cities in Vietnam for the Provincial Innovation Index (PII-2024).
the Department of Science & Technology of Da Nang has implemented strong policies to attract and expand the innovation startup network, connecting with leading international organizations from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the Netherlands, France, and other ASEAN countries.
These policies provide tax exemptions for startup activities and non-refundable financial support from the state budget for innovative projects. Registration and evaluation procedures for testing new technologies have also been simplified, creating a favorable environment for innovative enterprises.
